At the end of 2009 the gymnasium within the leisure centre had become tired and new CV equipment was needed to keep abreast of the competition.

18 x Life Fitness machines with small TV screens were installed together with the reorganisation of the existing AV system throughout the gym.

With the recent change to digital broadcasting, the screens could not receive the new system. An aerial distribution network was installed coupled to an 8 channel digi-box. With 2 existing Sky decoders the whole system was married together to give 10 available TV channels on the screens.

A relocation of the audio rack enhanced the flow of the gym. All of this was achieved in the 3 days prior to Christmas, ready for the busy post celebration period at 7am on December 29.
