St Osmond Roman Catholic Church
Bolton
Built in the early 60s, St Osmond RC church bell was timed via an electro-mechanical clock. This had long stopped working and the incumbent Priest wanted the Angelus chime restoring to its past glory.
Father Hilton, having worked with OPUS at a previous parish, contacted us for this special project and a new micro-processor controlled timer was specifically designed to attach to the existing electrified clanger.
Since its installation in 2007 the system has worked faultlessly twice a day at its specified times.
