Wellfield School
Burnley
Following a successful fundraising campaign, Wellfield School contacted OPUS to revamp their sound system utilising some of the existing equipment.
Microphones, mixer and amplifier together with new cabling were installed. Three ‘AKG’ suspension microphones which are sensitive enough for young voices to be heard at the rear of the hall were used. They were also chosen so the children were not intimidated by their presence. Their small size makes them the ideal choice.
The new ‘Peavey PV10’ multi-channel mixer is perfect for job in hand, it allows connections from many sources to be mixed with ease. i.e. Laptop, Radio microphone, stage microphones and CD player.
Mrs Forshaw was very happy with OPUS who spent no more from the fund than was allocated. It took only 8 days from enquiry to completion of work, just in time for the Schools nativity play!
